Iconduit

1. Data we collect

We do not collect, store, sell, or transmit any personal data. Iconduit contains:

• No analytics or usage tracking
• No advertising and no advertising identifiers
• No third-party tracking or marketing SDKs
• No account, sign-in, or registration
• No telemetry sent to the developer

We never see your images, the icons you generate, or how you use the app.

2. Your images and exported files

Iconduit works on the images you open or drag in, and writes the icon sets you export. All of this stays on your Mac:

• Source images and SVGs — the artwork you provide is processed in memory on your device to render previews and generate icons. It is never uploaded.
• Exported icon sets — the AppIcons/ folder Iconduit produces is written only to the location you pick in the save dialog.

The app runs inside the macOS App Sandbox and holds only the user-selected files permission, so it can read and write the files and folders you explicitly choose — and nothing else on your system.

3. On-device and AI processing

Every transformation Iconduit performs runs locally on your Mac. Nothing is sent to a server, and no developer-side API key or account is involved:

• Resizing, styling, and export use Apple's Core Image on your device.
• AI background removal uses Apple's Vision framework on your device to isolate the subject of your image.
• Generate from text uses Apple Intelligence (Image Playground) on your device to create an icon from your description. Your prompt and the generated image never leave your Mac. This feature requires macOS 15.2 or later on an Apple Intelligence-capable Mac.

4. Network connections

Iconduit makes no network connections. The app is sandboxed without any network entitlement, so it cannot send or receive data over the internet — there is no server operated by the developer for it to contact, and your images, prompts, and exported icons have no path off your Mac.

5. Personal information

Iconduit does not require an account, email address, sign-in, or any personal information to use any of its features.

6. Purchases

Iconduit Pro is a one-time unlock. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, process, or have access to your payment information, card details, or billing address — we only receive confirmation from Apple that the unlock is active on your account.

7. Third-party services

Iconduit uses no third-party analytics, advertising, or cloud services. The frameworks it relies on — Core Image, Vision, Image Playground, and StoreKit — are part of Apple's operating system and run on your device.

8. Data retention and deletion

Because Iconduit stores nothing about you and keeps no copy of your images, there is no personal data for us to retain or delete. The app's own settings are stored locally on your Mac; removing Iconduit deletes them along with the app.

9. Children's privacy

Iconduit is a general-purpose developer utility, is not directed to children, and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
